I’m Scot Baston, a commercial photographer based in Kingsbridge and working across Devon and Cornwall. I photograph property, hospitality, food, products, people and brands, creating a consistent set of images shaped around what your customers need to see.
You work directly with me from the first conversation to final delivery. Before the shoot, we agree where the images will be used, what needs to be photographed and which formats or compositions will be most useful. That planning helps the shoot run efficiently and gives you an image library that works across your website, social media, print and campaigns.

From brief to final delivery
A clear brief
Tell me what needs photographing, where the work will take place, how the images will be used and any dates you are working towards. I will recommend an appropriate approach and identify anything that needs preparing.
Practical planning
Before the shoot, we agree priorities, access, timings and the essential shots. For location work, I also consider the working environment, available light and weather where relevant.
Careful photography and direction
On the day, I work methodically through the agreed brief while allowing room for useful opportunities that emerge. I provide clear direction for people and make practical adjustments to spaces, products and compositions where appropriate.
Consistent delivery
The selected photographs are edited as one coherent set and supplied for their intended use. Any particular file, crop or delivery requirements should be agreed as part of the brief.
